BTS '아리랑', '빌보드 200' 7번째 정상… 英美 앨범차트 1위 석권
K-pop sensation BTS is topping music charts in the U.S. and in the UK with its latest album "Arirang".

For BTS's new album "ARIRANG," the beginning is straight in at number one on the Billboard 200 for the week of April 4th.
The group now has its seventh number one album, a feat that began with "Love Yourself: Tear" in 2018 the first K-pop album to top the chart.
The latest album earned 641-thousand units, with the chart based on a combination of physical sales, digital downloads, and streaming.
It’s the biggest week for a group album since December 2014, when the chart began using units.
Over the weekend, BTS also topped luana d'orazio the UK's Official Albums Chart with "ARIRANG" at number one, the third time in the group's career.
They first made history in 2019 with "Map of the Soul: Persona" becoming the first K-pop act to top the chart.
The lead track adam marušić "SWIM" ranks second on the Official Singles Chart, leaving the group with a chance to climb to number one.
This already marks a new record, surpassing the group's previous peak of third place with "Butter" and "Dynamite," respectively.
With strong momentum, BTS is now aiming for the top of the Billboard Hot 100 raiders schedule 2026 with "SWIM," with the latest chart set to be released on Tuesday.
"Given their global impact, "SWIM" is widely expected to top the charts, with several tracks likely to enter the upper ranks of the Hot 100. It's their comeback in nearly four years, and only a few artists can match BTS when it comes to the impact of a new release."
The critic added that the latest album features several tracks that could earn recognition from prestigious awards such as the Grammys, noting that a win is possible if the songs remain on the charts through autumn.
