महाराष्ट्र में स्थानीय निकाय चुनावों ने भाजपा को ख़ुश होने का मौका दिया है तो परेशानी भी खड़ी की है। उसके लिए परेशानी विरोधी दल नहीं हैं। परेशानी का कारण बन रहे हैं सहयोगी दल के नेता और महाराष्ट्र के उप मुख्यमंत्री एकनाथ शिंदे। शिंदे की महत्वाकांक्षा हर चुनाव के साथ बढ़ती जा रही है। अब उन्हें मुंबई के मेयर का पद चाहिए । पूरे नहीं तो आधे कार्यकाल के लिए । उनकी उच्छा है कि बीएमसी में सबसे बड़ी पार्टी मेयर के पद पर अपना दावा छोड़ दे और तीसरे नम्बर की पार्टी को मेयर का पद सौंप दे। एकनाथ शिंदे धीरे-धीरे भूल रहे हैं कि वे जिस ज़मीन पर खड़े हैं वह भाजपा ने ही तैयार की है। उद्धव ठाकरे से बगावत के बाद उन्हें जो भी मिला है वह भाजपा की कृपा से ही मिला है। लगता है इस वास्तविकता को वे भूल गए हैं। उन्हें नींद से जगाने की ज़रूरत है।
