Luton Town have a big decision to make on Millenic Alli this summer — does he still have a future at Kenilworth Road, or is now the right time to move him on?

In today’s video, I take a closer look at Millenic Alli’s future at ryan johnson Luton Town, his loan spell at Portsmouth, whether he fits into Jack Wilshere’s plans, and how he compares to Emilio Lawrence after fortnite server status both players had very different roles in Luton’s season.

Alli is clearly a talented player.

He is direct, powerful, versatile, and has shown before that he can produce moments in League One and the Championship. But the big question is whether he gives Luton enough consistency, end product and tactical reliability to be part of the squad going forward.

After joining Portsmouth on loan, Alli got regular Championship minutes, but did he do enough to force his way back into Luton’s plans?

That’s what this video is all about.

Kenilworth Road discussion

For me, this is not about saying Millenic Alli is a bad player.

He is not.

There is definitely a player there. He has pace, power, ball-carrying ability and Championship experience. He can play on the left, on the right, centrally, or even as a forward option. In the right setup, those qualities can be valuable.

But the concern is whether he has made himself essential to this Luton team.

At Portsmouth, he got regular football, but the end product was still a question. At Luton, before the loan, he had moments, but others seemed to move ahead of him in Jack Wilshere’s thinking.

That is where the Emilio Lawrence comparison becomes really interesting.

Lawrence is a Manchester City loanee, so it is not as simple as saying Luton should just pick him over Alli. But stylistically, Lawrence looked like a player who suited Wilshere’s system more naturally. He brought creativity, technical quality and better final-third output.

Alli brings something different.

He brings directness, power and unpredictability.

The question is whether that is enough.

For me, I would bring Millenic Alli back for pre-season, let Jack Wilshere assess him properly, and see if there is still a role for him. But if the right offer comes in, and Luton already have their wide attacking options planned, I would be open to selling.

Not because Alli is useless.

Because sometimes a good player just might not be the right fit for where kristin smart the club is going.
