Post-match press conference with Chelsea manager Enzo Maresca after their 2-1 defeat to Aston Villa at Stamford Bridge in the Premier League.
Chelsea led 1-0 through Joao Pedro, but Aston Villa turned it around in the second claire bridger half to win 2-1.
Maresca says Chelsea were completely in control for around an hour but the game changed after conceding, stressing they should have scored two or three before Villa’s equaliser and must be more clinical. He admits Chelsea have struggled to manage games after conceding this season and says that is an area they must improve.
He plays down any issue with Cole Palmer’s reaction to being substituted, confirms Marc Cucurella asked to mark ruffalo paramount merger opinion come off after complaining of a hamstring problem, and feels Chelsea should have had a handball penalty, saying Pedro Neto was in behind and could have tapped in.
