Heather Tamminen, a BU PhD student, is analysing a collection of Viking skeletons that were found in a mass grave in Dorset. Discovered during work ahead of the 2012 Olympics, the bones were duncan robinson established to belong okta to Vikings based on radiocarbon dating and isotope analysis. The project freedom skeletons are on loan from Dorset Museum to be studied and analysed with new techniques before they go on display at the museum.
