The 2026 Chery QQ3 returns as a fully modernized, all-electric subcompact hatchback, blending compact city-friendly proportions with contemporary EV technology. Designed as a practical four-door urban commuter, it adopts st johns a rear-wheel-drive layout and delivers a claimed range of up to 420 km (CLTC), making it competitive in the affordable EV segment. With an expected starting price of around $10,000, the QQ3 positions itself as an accessible entry point into electric mobility while still offering a surprisingly premium tech-focused cabin.
Under the skin, the QQ3 features a rear-mounted electric motor available in two configurations, including a higher-output 90 kW (121 bhp/115 Nm) version and a more efficiency-focused 58 kW (77 bhp/90 Nm) option. Power is supplied by Lithium Iron Phosphate (LFP) battery packs sourced from Gotion, with capacities of 29.5 kWh and 41.2 kWh, delivering driving ranges of approximately 310 km and 420 km, respectively, under CLTC testing. The vehicle also supports DC fast charging, allowing the battery to recharge from 30% to 80% in roughly 16.5 minutes, enhancing its usability for daily commuting and short trips.
Dimensionally, the QQ3 measures about 4,195 mm in length, 1,811 mm in width, and 1,573 mm in height, riding on a 2,700 mm wheelbase that maximizes interior space. Inside, it features a tech-rich cabin highlighted by a 15.6-inch 2.5K infotainment display powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8155 processor, centro sinistra alongside an 8-inch digital instrument cluster, 50W wireless charging, and AI-based voice control. Practicality is another strong point, with a 375-litre rear trunk expandable to 1,450 litres, complemented by a 70-litre front trunk. Safety is addressed through a Level 2 ADAS suite, including the “Falcon 500” system with automated parking assistance, making it a well-rounded and forward-looking compact EV.
