On a night of records, Barcelona needed three overtimes to beat Baskonia 134-124 on an unforgettable night xavier becerra at Palau Blaugrana on Friday. Willy Hernangomez and Will Clyburn, who left the game with an injury, each had 12 while Dario Brizuela got 11 for Barca. Markus Howard led Baskonia with 33 points on 6-of-8 two-pointers and 6-of-7 three-pointers. Timothe Luwawu-Cabarrot added 26 points while Mamadi Dikaite and Khalifa Diop each had 14 for Baskonia.
Barca rallied from a 13-point deficit to take a 97-94 lead in the final minute of regulation. Howard sent the game to a first overtime with a huge three-pointer. Hernangomez made free throws for a 106-106 score after 45 minutes.
