आसमान से आग बरस रही है और जमीन तवे की तरह तप रही है। उत्तर भारत के मैदानी इलाकों में इन दिनों कुदरत का मिजाज बेहद सख्त हो गया है। सूरज की तपिश ऐसी है कि दोपहर होते-होते सड़कों पर सन्नाटा पसरने लगा है। कहीं पारा 45 के पार है तो कहीं 47° की गर्मी ने रिकॉर्ड तोड़ दिए हैं। उत्तर प्रदेश का बांदा इस वक्त सबसे ज्यादा तप रहा है। जहां पारा 47° के ऊपर जा पहुंचा है। संगम नगरी प्रयागराज भी पीछे नहीं है। वहां भी तापमान 45° के इर्द-गिर्द घूम रहा है। यह सिर्फ गर्मी नहीं बल्कि लू का वह थपेड़ा है जो इंसान को बेहाल कर रहा है। यूपी के बांदा में पारा 47° के पार रिकॉर्ड हुआ है। प्रयागराज में तापमान 45° के करीब बना हुआ है। दिल्ली में सफदर जंग में तापमान सामान्य से 5 डिग्री ज्यादा है। राजस्थान और बिहार में भीषण लू का कहर जारी है। राजस्थान के पश्चिमी छोर पर स्थित बाड़मेर इन दिनों भीषण गर्मी की चपेट में है। तापमान 46 डिग्री सेल्सियस के पार पहुंचने को तैयार है और पिछले एक सप्ताह से लगातार बढ़ती गर्मी ने हालात बेहद गंभीर बना दिए हैं। गर्मी में पसीना ज्यादा हो रहा है और गंदा भी थोड़ा कम है। अभी चेतावनी भी दी हुई है।

In Banda, UP, the mercury has been recorded crossing the 47°C threshold, while in Prayagraj, temperatures remain steady at around 45°C. In Delhi, the temperature recorded at Safdarjung is 5 degrees higher than normal. Meanwhile, a severe heatwave continues to wreak havoc across Rajasthan and Bihar. Barmer, situated at the western edge of Rajasthan, is currently gripped by this intense heat. Temperatures are poised to breach the 46°C mark, and the heat—which has been escalating continuously over the past week—has rendered the situation extremely critical. The heat is causing excessive perspiration, and the air quality has also deteriorated slightly.
