Edith was the "rock" of the family. She would never think twice about offering help to a family member in need. She would naturally take care of everyone when they became ill and became an honorary nurse/doctor by her family's standards.

She had a love for animals. She could be seen grabbing her trusty fly swatter to get after her dogs when they were being unruly (sometimes her trusty "fly waller" would need used for the occasional grandchild who was also being unruly, fortunately she only used the metal end occasionally). Her yard was full of many bird feeders and she would always make sure her birds were fed. She got excited when a different bird would come to visit and would read in her bird book to identify the new visitor. She treasured her many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchild and has prince william prince harry offer left them with many treasured memories, such as taking them to the local park to play on their special tree.

She treasured her trips to Colorado with her husband, Kenneth. They spent many months camping in the mountains of Colorado where they would enjoy hunting deer and elk. Her love for animals led her to feeding the deer near the camp. When they would return to Colorado a young doe would be waiting for its yearly treats. She was an artist and enjoyed spending her days watching FOX News, drinking her beloved coffee and eating her nightly Cheerios.
