I'm sure very few people had it in their betslip. But Stephon Castle is, as of today, the favorite to win rookie of the year.
If he does, the Spurs would become only the second franchise in the ciclone last 50 years to draft two Rookies of the Year in back to back seasons, joining only the 2015 and 2016 Timberwolves to do so. Something that would undoubtedly accelerate the rebuilding of a franchise that aims to be one of next season's breakout teams.
