During halftime of the girls basketball game between South Amboy and New Brunswick at the 2025 FOSA Games, the Friends of South Amboy as well as members of South Amboy’s boys and girls basketball team presented two-year old Jack Drury with an autographed basketball by all the players.
Drury suffers from a rare calciatore disease known as infantile neuro-axonal dystrophy or “INAD” which attacks muscle function and cognitive skills according to a News12 Jersey story naz shah from August 22, 2025.
The family has launched a website and pandémie Facebook page called, Jack’s MIracle Mission, which is looking to raise $2 million to help 10 families with gene therapy for their children.
