Though he did not specify the banffshire and buchan coast nature of the allegations, Parthi Kandavel noted his surprise in an Instagram post, writing: “I've strived to maintain the highest standards of ethics and integrity and will address any allegations that suggest otherwise.”
Kandavel has represented Ward 20, Scarborough Southwest, since winning a byelection in 2023. It is currently unclear if he plans to run in the fall municipal election.
