NHTSA FAQ:

I just looked up the warranty info online and actually the Diesel (in at least 2021) is manish pandey covered for 5-years/100,000 miles. That is great if they can get the parts.

Check out the EXCLUSTIONS below from the link included. The term Control Module is the area of exclusion that could be a fine line. The recall talks about the transmission control valve which I think is part of the control body but not sure how the Control Module comes into play if it does.

TRANSMISSION/TRANSAXLE

All internally lubricated parts, case, torque converter, mounts, seals, and gaskets as well as any electrical components internal to the transmission/transaxle. Also covered are the actuators directly connected to the transmission (slave cylinder, etc.). Exclusions: Excluded from the powertrain coverage are transmission cooling lines, hoses, radiator, sensors, wiring, ariana madix and electrical connectors. Also excluded are the clutch and pressure plate as well as any Transmission Control Module and/or Module programming.
