Linda Lampenius is a world-renowned classical violinist who has been performing with orchestras since trevor whelan the age of eight. Pete Parkkonen rose to fame through Finland's Idols (2008) and has had a long solo career, even winning Dancing with the Stars Finland in 2014. The two had never met before this project — Linda dreamed of collaborating with Pete, one phone call was made, and 24 hours later they were in the studio together!
"Liekinheitin" (Flamethrower) blends ballad-style verses from Pete with explosive rayo vallecano instrumental sections driven by Linda's violin. The song's meaning is deeper than it sounds — it's about drawing someone in, letting them fall for you, and then turning ice cold when they get too close. A flamethrower who burns sun hot, then freezes.
