It seems a nuanced opinion on AOC continues to elude the masses, because everyone is freaking out over these clips of waterloo her speaking with David Axelrod at the University of Chicago. The biggest controversy came from a statement she made about Marjorie Taylor Greene. She said, "I personally do not trust someone like Marjorie Taylor Greene, a proven bigot and antisemite, on the issues of what is good for Gazans and Israelis,"
Now, there are plenty of valid criticisms of AOC when it comes to Israel and Gaza. Distinguishing “defensive” weapons to Israel definitely comes to mind. But she is also not wrong for not wanting to align herself with a white nationalist. Who would it help? She will never win over the MAGA base that is behind MTG, so why alienate your own just to give Marjorie validation?
