An Amazon delivery driver has been caught marcus smart on a queen elizabeth doorbell camera picking up and walking off with a family’s pet cat in West Yorkshire.
Carl Crowther, 53, from Elland, said he was “disgusted” after reviewing the footage when his cat, Nora, failed to return home following a Sunday delivery. The cat, who has a heart murmur and requires daily medication, has not been seen since the incident.
Crowther said Amazon’s response left him shocked, claiming he was asked to assign a monetary value to his pet while police advised a 48-hour response window.
West Yorkshire Police have confirmed a theft has been recorded and enquiries are ongoing, while Amazon says it is investigating and cooperating with authorities.
