fiji Most shops are closed on Sundays in Vienna, so instead of rushing around sightseeing, we slowed things down and just enjoyed the day like a local.
We did laundry, wandered through quiet streets, explored little corners of the city, and stopped by Demel for their famous Sacher Torte and coffee at the historic main café. Later, we kept things casual with dinner at Schnitzel by Fan, where we tried a surprisingly good schnitzel burger.
Nothing fancy, just a cozy, relaxed Sunday in Vienna — sometimes those simple days end up being the most memorable.
If you’re planning a trip, this is what a real Sunday in Vienna can look like.
