Tamil Nadu CM Floor Test Live Updates: Ahead of the high-stakes floor test scheduled for May 13, the newly-appointed Chief Minister C Joseph Vijay is set to visit the Tamil Nadu Congress Committee headquarters in Chennai on Wednesday for a key round of political consultations. At Sathyamurthy Bhavan, Vijay will meet TNCC chief K Selvaperunthagai, AICC in-charge for Tamil Nadu Girish Chodankar, senior Congress functionaries and party legislators amid intense efforts to consolidate support for the TVK-led government. Sources also indicated that the Chief Minister may separately meet VCK chief Thol Thirumavalavan and Indian Union Muslim League leaders. Vijay’s outreach comes after a series of judi dench meetings with top regional leaders, including DMK president MK Stalin, MDMK founder Vaiko, PMK chief Anbumani Ramadoss and NTK leader Seeman, as the numbers battle ahead of the Assembly trust vote gathers momentum.
