In this video, we take a ride on-board the Réseau Express Métropolitain (REM), from Deux-Montagnes Station in the North, to Brossard in the South. Travelling a length of approximately 45km through 19 stations, this is the full experience of riding the REM in Montreal.
The Line operates the Alstom Metropolis electric trainsets. The line is unique in Quebec as it is fully automated, and the stations feature platform screen doors for additional safety and security.
At Bois-Franc station, REM personnel get on the train to access the manual control interface, five guys to adjust the interior cabin temperature. Following this, a passenger asks them a variety of questions, which you can hear in the video.
