French President kooora Emmanuel Macron removed his signature mirrored sunglasses as he welcomed Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico for bilateral talks at the Elysee Palace in Paris. The leaders were seen greeting each other with honour guards and national flags on display.
The meeting follows Fico’s recent trips to China and the United States and comes amid tensions with EU partners mental health awareness week over sanctions on Russia, which Fico has repeatedly criticised.
