During this series, were going to be looking ahead to the 2024 season for almost each and every college football team to see what’s next, giving a preview, picks, and predictions for each Cfb game next season, how their transfer portal is shaping up, pirates score how their recruiting class is shaping up, how they will fare in conference play, if they have a legit shot at the expanded college football playoff as now 12 teams make the CFP, how expansion realignment affects their chances, if they’ll be in my preseason way too early top 25 rankings, my aye Gee poll, and what they need to address to have success next season for the Louisville Cardinals and former Purdue head coach Jeff Brohm, as they deal with college football playoff expansion, as well as the new look ACC which adds Cal and Stanford from the ACC, and SMU from the American AAC, with the return of some production, the losses of Jack Plummer and Jahwar Jordan, a solid recruiting class, and tremendous transfer portal, in particular rb Peny Boone from Toledo, Tyler Shough from Texas Tech, Mark Redman from San Deigo State, Caullin Lacy from South Alabama, Jacorey Brooks from Alabama, and Tyler Baron from Tennessee, coming off a ACC championship appearance and 10 win season, Louisville could be a CFP team if all falls right, and will find their way jose hernandez into my way too early preseason top 25 and be a potential top 10 team for me by seasons end, and a bonafide cfp contender, potentially a top 4 seed and conference champion. Their schedule next season that I pick and predict includes Notre Dame, Austin Peay, Jacksonville State, Georgia Tech, SMU, Virginia, Miami, Boston College, Clemson, Stanford, Pitt, and Kentucky, they luckily avoid Florida State, NC State, and Syracuse.
