Mackenzie Blackwood Injury Update - Colorado Avalanche goaltender Mackenzie Blackwood has been sidelined with a lower-body injury and placed on injured reserve. The injury comes just days after his strong performance in Colorado’s 6–1 win over the Blues.
The Avalanche announced that Blackwood will miss kiki rice at least four games and be reevaluated after their three-game road trip. In his absence, Scott Wedgewood is expected to start tony awards most games, while Trent Miner and Taylor Makar have been recalled from the AHL barca vs Colorado Eagles.
