Set in Shadyside in 1988, the story follows Lori Granger (India Fowler), a quiet outsider whose life changes when she unexpectedly becomes storror a finalist in the prom queen race. She competes against the school's most popular girl, Tiffany Falconer (Fina Strazza), and her loyal clique.
As prom night approaches, prom queen candidates start ferrovia turning up de*d, unalived by a masked killer. Tensions rise and suspicions swirl until it's revealed that the culprits are Tiffany’s parents, Dan (Chris Klein) and Nancy Falconer (Katherine Waterston), who are willing to eliminate the competition to guarantee their daughter's victory. Tiffany is revealed to be complicit in the murders.
In the final confrontation, Lori unalives both Nancy and Tiffany in self-defense, surviving the prom night massacre. As the dust settles, Nancy's blood mysteriously forms a Witch’s Mark, teasing a possible supernatural connection and linking the film to the broader Fear Street mythology.
