Sharon McIntosh nominated her two boys, Miles and Curtis.
She said: "Miles was diagnosed with cancer when he was only eight years old and over the last five years he has undergone neurosurgery, radiotherapy, and chemotherapy.
"All through this Miles has kept up going to school and just won an award for passing all of his exams."
Sharon also said she is super proud of Curtis, for being such a caring wee brother.
