Synopsis
In 1928, scholar R.G. Bury produced the first English translation of Plato, illustrating Atlantis as three concentric rings, the image we know today. But Bury also drew a second, forgotten diagram: a vast rectangular irrigation field, 555 by 370 km, fed by a second canal. The video traces Atlantis from Plato's morality tale through Renaissance ideal cities, Kircher's maps, Donnelly's pseudoscience, Blavatsky's occultism, and Himmler's racial expeditions, showing how each era reshaped it. Today, the rings became a logo, and the anthropic blueprint was discarded. That choice, the video argues, hides what Plato really wanted us to see.
