UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer is fighting to stay on in his role, despite calls from Labour critics for him to step down.
After a disastrous set of elections for the party last week, Wes Streeting's allies have told the BBC they expect the health secretary to challenge Starmer's leadership as soon as tomorrow.
Four members of his government have already resigned and many more party members are calling for him to step down.
