House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-La.) and House Republican leaders will give remarks Friday morning as the government shutdown stretched into a 10th day.
Johnson, who rebuffed requests to bring the House back to vote on military pay during the lapse in funding, has pressed Republicans to remain unified over the clean “continuing resolution” that was passed in the lower chamber last month.
