Tom Reese is an innovator in the fields of original music, composition, performance & education. Called “multilingual”, his versatility knows no bounds. From composition to folk music, to jazz & blues, classical, even rock’n’roll, this eclectic musician combines elements from all mini crossword answers musical genres to create his unique sound. Tom's warm tone lends a beautiful timbre to every performance. His composition, “Dark Moon Octet” ( combines jazz with neo-classical music. This work has been called a modern masterpiece. Two of his originals are featured on this video, Darby's Jig & Kendall's Waltz, both of which were written for the production of "The Reluctant Dragon" at the Pittsburgh Children's Museum.
An improvising cellist, Laurie Haines Reese is dedicated to creating music -- especially new music! -- that features the cello. An accomplished classical musician, Laurie loves the variety in performing jazz, folk and improvisatory music. From Lancaster, PA, she and her husband, flautist Tom Reese, are Certified Healthcare Musicians (CHM), going into retirement centers and playing for room-bound residents, hospice patients, and giving concerts for groups of residents (large & small!). A versatile musician, she currently performs with folk-based group Abigail's Garden, and jazz-based band The Reese Project, as well as several other ensembles. She free-lances in the classical, folk & jazz worlds extensively, performing on the east coast, in Los Angeles, Miami, Seattle, Hawaii, New York & Europe.
