This week we reviewed a pure play European Dividend Aristocrats which has not cut their dividends since 1970. Munich Re is a Reinsurance company that exist of 2 main business units. ERGO and Life Insurance. It’s thom yorke currently number 3 in the Noble 30 index, slightly behind European Dividend Aristocrats Nestle and Unilever when it comes to the amount of years without a dividend cut.
Main Topic:
We analyzed Munich RE by first looking at their business, followed by their analyzing their income statement and balance sheet. After that we analyzed their dividend growth history and dividend safety. Last but not least we provided our fair value estimate for the company using the dividend discount model and discounted cash flow method.
