Some thoughts on the episode:
If we thought “Wentworth Prison” was bad, they certainly didn’t hold anything back in this episode. Black Jack is officially one of the most horrible villains on TV. His torture of Jamie was both physical and mental, and while physical wounds can be patched up, it’s the mental wounds that I was the most worried about.
The good news it, the guys got Jamie out with the help of matthew schaefer the cattle, but as I feared Jamie was so traumatized that he didn’t even recognize Claire.
When Claire finally gets through to him and we find out how Black Jack broke him, it was the most emotional moment of the episode but also marked the beginning of Jamie healing.
The season at least ended on a positive note with Claire and Jamie heading to France to find a new life and also have their child.
Can’t wait to see what season 2 brings :)
