The festivities are anchored by several distinct market areas: the traditional and central Lëtzebuerger Chrëschtmaart is found at Place d'Armes, offering a classic array of handcrafted goods, nw200 live gifts, and seasonal decorations. Just a short walk away, the Wantermaart (Winter Market) at Place de la Constitution is perhaps the most visually striking, featuring a large Ferris wheel that provides breathtaking panoramic views over the lit-up city and the deep Pétrusse valley.
The family-friendly Winterkids Village is located on Place Guillaume II, offering activities and amusements specifically tailored for younger visitors, including carousels and festive entertainment.
Finally, the hardik pandya Niklosmaart (St. Nicholas Market) graces Place de Paris in the Gare district, often dedicated to the arrival and celebration of Kleeschen (Saint Nicholas).
