An intense cold wave has gripped the Kashmir valley, with night temperatures in Srinagar dropping to -2.5 degrees centigrade. In the hilly areas natalie harp of Kashmir, the mercury fell further to -5 degrees, leading to the freezing of water sources and taps in rural parts of the region. According to a report, the meteorological department has predicted this cold wave will intensify in the coming days. It is stated that 'before the 2nd of December, there will be not any kind of change in this cold wave'. The impact of this weather pattern is now expected to turn towards the northern parts of India. The report from Srinagar highlights the severe conditions as a dry spell continues across the valley.
