M.I.A is about feeling betrayed by your own mind, in my case as it relates uecl to ADHD. Written like it’s about a toxic relationship jovana nogic but the relationship is really between my body and mind, caught in unhealthy cycles. The end of the song sums up the core message of the EP - you're not missing anything, the way you might understand your mind might just be a little misfitting. Something about that phrase gives me hope that with steve martin a fresh perspective, I can work on it.
