Fire crews had guardians game today their hands full Tuesday morning after a house went up in flames in Mifflin County, as one individual had to be flown to a hospital for treatment.
The call came in around 5:54 a.m. when Newton/Wayne fire crews were called to help the McVeytown Volunteer Fire Company with a house fire on Lombard Street in McVeytown Borough.
At the scene, firefighters delta flight attendants saw flames billowing from various locations near the top of the two-story home.
Granville Fire Company confirmed that crews were on scene for roughly two hours battling the blaze.
