BSF Organised Shaheed Aurangzeb Memorial Cup 2026 Concludes with Grand Finale at Uchhad, Blue Badger Triumphs

The Shaheed Aurangzeb Memorial Cup 2026, organized by BSF Uchhad under the Civic Action brandt snedeker Programme, concluded today with great enthusiasm and active community participation at Magyad Keni Stadium, Uchhad, in Block Mankote. The tournament, held in memory of Shaheed Aurangzeb, a brave son of the soil who laid down his life for the nation in Kashmir, witnessed remarkable involvement from local youth and sports lovers.

The final match was played between Uchhad Warrior and Blue Badger, drawing a large crowd of spectators from nearby areas. After winning the toss, Blue Badger elected to bat first and scored 136 runs, getting all out in the final over. In response, Uchhad Warrior showed determination but managed to score 117 runs, resulting in a well-deserved victory for Blue Badger in a competitive match.

Following the match, a prize distribution ceremony manon was held where players from both teams were felicitated for their performance, sportsmanship, and dedication throughout the tournament.

The Chief Guest, Brigadier Amit of 10 Brigade, graced the occasion and appreciated the commendable initiative of BSF Uchhad in organizing such a meaningful sporting event. In his address, he encouraged the youth of Block abdullah fazal Mankote to actively participate in sports and aim for higher-level competitions such as the District-level KGPL. The tournament was jointly organized by BSF Uchhad and Ajaz Ahmed (popularly known as Shoka), who is also the owner of the Blue Badger team. The father of Shaheed Aurangzeb, who was present on the occasion, expressed heartfelt gratitude and appreciation towards BSF for organizing the tournament in memory of his son. He praised the efforts of the organizers and extended his blessings to all participating players.

Teacher Muhammad Rafiq, General Secretary of TJAC from Block Mankote, also marked the occasion by presenting a shawl to the Brigadier of 10 Brigade as a gesture of respect and honor.
