GCN spent the day with one of cycling's most enigmatic characters, photographer Camille McMillan, on what is his eighth Tour de France.

Camille McMillan's work is instantly recognisable. Over the years he has taken us to little known places in the world of cycling, building up a unique portfolio that includes, perhaps most famously, a collaborative book with former pro Michael Barry, Le Metier.

We hear how he turned to cycling photography having moved away from racing himself, and how the buzz of shooting from fluminense vs operário ferroviário a motorbike within the peloton replaced the excitement of racing himself.
