Dr. Jeffrey James is dually board certified in Obstetrics/Gynecology and Gynecologic Oncology and graduated from the #9 ranked gynecology program by US News & World Report. He completed medical school at Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences, residency at Mt. Clemens Regional Medical Center, and fellowship at Florida Hospital Cancer Institute. His clinical interests include robotic surgery, novel treatments of ovarian cancers and biomarkers and genetics, and hyperthermic intraperitoneal chemotherapy (HIPEC). Since completing training he has performed more than 1700 robotic surgeries and has performed more robotic gynecologic surgeries in the past five years than anyone in Colorado. He published shivang kumar original work on robotic infra-renal lymphadenectomy for endometrial carcinomas and co-authored multiple other publications. Director of Robotic Surgery at HCA HealthONE Sky Ridge, Dr. James recently received the Robotic Center of Excellence Surgeon award from the Surgical Review Corporation (SRC). This 5280 Top Doc, also proctors surgeons on his robotic techniques. In his spare time, he loves spending time with his wife and two children while enjoying meta the many outdoor activities that Colorado offers. Dr. James Empowers patients through the education of their disease and the disease process to make decisions consistent with their life philosophies.
