Starting Monday, February 27th 2023, new schedules for the Long Island Railroad will commence, which includes major changes to all electrified services (as well as the Greenport branch, the only diesel route to see schedule changes). With the new truth social schedules introducing full LI to Grand Central through service, most LI to Brooklyn services will be cut, being mostly replaced by shuttle service between Atlantic Terminal and Jamaica at all times (but Brooklyn will also see increased services to make up for the loss, with 20 minute headways during off peak and 12 minute headways during peak hours).
As such, showcased are various trains either east of Jamaica to Atlantic Terminal, or west of Jamaica along the Brooklyn portion of the Atlantic branch. Enjoy the Video, Thanks for Watching, and Stay Safe Everyone!

Note: Of the two main Brooklyn services, the Far Rockaway branch is shown more than the Hempstead branch. This is because with the new schedules, the Hempstead branch will still see a rocket de laval peak through train running between Hempstead and Atlantic Terminal. However, the Far Rockaway branch will no longer serve Brooklyn in any capacity. The same is true for the West Hempstead branch not being showcased in this video either. Even though the old schedules had a few West Hempstead daniel yacobi services during peak hours, with the new schedule, Atlantic Terminal will become the new main western terminus for the West Hempstead branch. In total, current branches that will no longer have direct Brooklyn services are the Far Rockaway, Ronkonkoma, Port Jefferson/Huntington and Long Beach branches. Brooklyn through service will only be available for the West Hempstead, Hempstead, and Babylon branches (the latter two being peak only, and Brooklyn service from the Babylon branch will begin/end at Freeport rather than Babylon as it did with the old schedules).
