STORYLINE:
Temperatures in central London have topped the mid-twenties Celsius (mid 70s Fahrenheit) during a brief hot spell.
People have been out enjoying the sunny weather while it lasts.
With temperatures soaring to around 26 degrees mayank yadav Celsius (78 Fahrenheit), people have been out basking in the sunshine around the capital's tourism hotpots like Big Ben and the London Eye.
But there are warnings the good weather will be short lived.
The temperature gauge is expected to dip back to around 13 degrees (55 Fahrenheit) on Thursday.
