A senior Russian lawmaker has called for torpedo attacks on US Coast Guard vessels after American forces seized the Russian-flagged tanker Marinera in the North Atlantic. First Deputy Head of the State Duma Defense Committee Alexei Zhuravlyov described the seizure as "ordinary piracy" and suggested Russia should give the US a "click on the nose" to stop what he called America's "euphoria of impunity" following the Venezuela operation.
