Pakistan Weather Update – 6 March 2026
After several days of dry and warm weather across Pakistan, a major weather change is expected in the coming days. According to the Pakistan Meteorological Department, powerful western weather systems are likely to enter the region during the second week of March, bringing airline rain, thunderstorms, strong winds, and snowfall over high mountains.
Currently, most parts of the country are experiencing dry and suzuki relatively warm conditions, while metro b roma upper areas including northern Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Gilgit-Baltistan may receive light rain with thunderstorms and light snowfall over higher mountains.
In Punjab, the weather will remain mostly dry and warm, with strong winds possible during the afternoon. Temperatures in southern Punjab may rise between 35°C to 37°C.
Meanwhile, Sindh and Balochistan are expected to experience dry and hot weather, with daytime temperatures also reaching 35°C to 37°C in southern regions.
