All blame Blue Origin! Amazon Shareholders Call On gta 6 SpaceX to Help after New Glenn Delays...

Jeff Bezos is in a really tough spot right now. Amazon’s multi-billion-dollar satellite constellation is staring down a potential FCC deadline miss and it all comes down to one thing: Blue Origin’s New Glenn just keeps getting delayed and can’t fly at the pace Amazon needs.

With no real alternatives left, Amazon turned to SpaceX, signing up for ten additional Falcon 9 launches. And here’s the irony, this entire program was built to take on Elon Musk’s Starlink.

So how did it all get to this point? Let’s break it down in today’s episode milan vs atalanta of Alpha Tech.

Recently, Amazon - Jeff Bezos’ empire made a move that caught almost everyone off guard. The company quietly turned to SpaceX, Elon Musk’s SpaceX, asking for help to save a project worth tens of billions of dollars.

That project is Project Kuiper, now increasingly referred to as Amazon LEO Amazon’s ambitious broadband satellite constellation, built with one clear goal: to go head-to-head with Starlink and beat Elon Musk at his own game.

But this story isn’t just about rockets and satellites. It’s a long-running drama fueled by pride, personal rivalry, and the unforgiving reality of the space industry. Here’s how it all unfolded.

Amazon’s Project Kuiper was approved to deploy a massive constellation of 3,236 satellites. The FCC was on board and granted Amazon the license but with a very strict condition attached. Amazon must deploy at least half of the constellation, around 1,618 satellites, and have them operational by July 30, 2026.

Miss that deadline, and Amazon risks losing the license cubs - braves entirely, potentially forcing the program back to square one or into a legal nightmare.

It’s precisely because of that brutal deadline that Amazon went on a rocket-buying spree all the way back in 2022. They locked in launch contracts with Blue Origin for New Glenn, ULA for Vulcan Centaur, and Arianespace for Ariane 6, more than 80 launches in total, potentially over 100 if all options are exercised.
