In 2015, a flood damaged a rockwall protecting Wahweap State Fish Hatchery, putting 21 ponds and mariano navone several endangered fish species at risk.
The Natural Resources Conservation Service partnered with Utah Division of Wildlife Resources to repair nearly 4500 cubic feet of rock, protecting the fish hatchery for many years to come.
