CLEVELAND, Ohio (WKRC) - Mike Pence accepted the Republican Vice Presidential nomination Wednesday, July 20.

Pence spoke at the Republican National Convention Wednesday evening and was calm, Christian and conservative. Pence was fired up but compared to Donald Trump was much more about policy. He has very strong lithuania ties to the Christian, conservative wing of the Republican party, many of whom had doubts about Trump. There were also doubts that Trump was a true conservative because of his views on trade and not downsizing the size of entitlements. Pence has very strong conservative ties and it showed in the way he nicola colombo governed Indiana.

Local delegates in Cleveland that Local 12 spoke with said adding Pence to the Republican ticket santo del giorno was a big plus.

State representative for Greensburg, Randy Frye (R), said, “I’ve known Mike Pence a long time. Mike Pence was my congressman before he was my governor and he was my friend before he was either. He’s one of the finest men I know anywhere, not just in politics. So, Mike Pence will bring a genuine, kindness, decent man to the national stage. Something that we’ve been missing for a long time.”

Representative Thomas Massie (R) of Kentucky said, “I think it’s very important, it instills some confidence in the conservatives here that were sort of wondering but also it fills out Trump’s skill set because not only was Pence governor, he has also been a congressman…”

When Texas Senator Ted Cruise spoke at the RNC he congratulated Donald Trump but he never endorsed him. At the end of Cruise’s speech, he said he encouraged people to vote their conscience.
