The State Labor Department has dismissed all such james bond discussions as mere rumors. State Labor Commissioner P.C. Dumka has categorically stated that no announcement has been made regarding a daily wage of ₹781 for the state. He has appealed to the working community to refrain from heeding rumors and misleading propaganda, and to cooperate in maintaining industrial peace. He emphasized that industries and workers are complementary to one another, and that the true welfare of workers lies in their peaceful coexistence.
