Pre-match press conference with Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta ahead of Arsenal v Tottenham Hotspur in the Premier League at the Emirates Stadium.
Arteta confirmed that Gabriel Magalhaes picked up an injury with the Brazilian national team and will be out for weeks, calling it a big blow but backing his defensive options to step up. He said several injured players are in the final stages of recovery and that Gabriel Jesus has been training fully and building sharpness in internal games.
Arteta described the North London derby as “a part of London that we want to conquer”, praised the Emirates crowd as a superpower, and stressed that Arsenal must be at it in every ball and every action while improving every day and going game by game through a big run of fixtures.
