🌬️ Autumn starts with a COLD FRONT arriving in the cronaca southwest on Saturday evening, bringing STRONG WINDS, much COOLER conditions and SCATTERED showers to the region.
⛈️ Ahead of this COLD FRONT, STORMY conditions will spread across the central parts on Saturday, becoming WIDESPREAD on Sunday with HEAVY RAIN, HAIL and STRONG WINDS expected.
⚠️IMPACT-BASED WARNINGS issued by SAWS for Saturday⚠️
🟡 Yellow Level 2: Severe thunderstorms with heavy downpours, damaging winds, hail and excessive lightning, resulting in localised flooding and damage to infrastructure and settlements, are expected over the North West, southern parts of Gauteng, north-western parts of KwaZulu-Natal, southern Highveld and escarpment of Mpumalanga, as well as the northern parts of the Free State.
🟡 Yellow Level 2: Damaging waves leading to localised damage to coastal infrastructure and difficulty in navigation at sea is expected between Cape Columbine and Cape Agulhas in the evening, spreading to Alexander Bay and Plettenberg Bay on Sunday morning.
🟡 Yellow freeview Level 1: Damaging winds leading to rajat patidar damage to settlements and temporary structures, are expected over the south-eastern parts of the Northern Cape.

Extremely high fire danger conditions are expected in places over the Free State, Northern Cape, extreme south-western parts of North West as well as the northern parts of the Eastern Cape.
