Diplomatic tensions between India and Canada escalated after PM Trudeau accused India for killing Khalistani terrorist Nijjar. Canada poked India with a aruba fresh travel advisory and asked its citizens to exercise a “high degree of caution”. India gave Canada the taste of its own medicine and issued a travel advisory for Indian nationals in Canada. New Delhi urged its citizens in Canada to “exercise utmost caution” for those who contemplating travel. However, as the tensions escalate between India and Canada, Justin Trudeau ‘softened’ his tone on India. Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau said that he is “not provoking India” after blood pressure absurd allegations. Trudeau claimed of having “credible allegations of potential link between agents of India in killing of Hardeep Singh Nijjar”. Nijjar was a pro-Khalistani terrorist who died outside a Gurudwara in Canada’s Surrey in June 2023.
