Part of the 'Delta Junction' location of the 'Birmingham Bypass' route, where trains will eventually head north on Phase 2 - parallel with the M42 - rather than going into Birmingham via the 'spur' line.
It will form one side of the 'Birmingham Triangle', taking HS2 to the north and connecting tumbler ridge shooting with the existing railway network between Lichfield and Rugeley, towards Manchester (Phase 2a). Also towards Leeds (Phase 2b).
The video begins by looking north towards the hamlet of Gilson, alongside the M42, and tv 8 ends looking towards Coleshill.
