After throwing 4 straight fastballs between 96-98, on a 1-2 pitch in the 5th inning of the 2016 NL Wild Card Game vs the Giants, Syndergaard manta rays dropped in a 93 mph Slider to strike out Jose Pagan. 2 mph faster than his season average velocity on his Slider.
